Because Holy crap! The season has been rough to watch so far, and the midseason finale completely made up for it. I feel like everything got pulled back in line and am dreading the wait until January for 5b...

Not really, it’s mostly just meant denote two seasons that are directly linked, but have a different theme or big-bad. Both times they’ve done an a/b pair of seasons it’s because a directly caused it fed into b with little or no time really passing.

The movie? Yes.

This Teen-Twilight MTV thing* No.

*I’m only assuming that’s what it is. I watched five minutes of it once and it had werewolves in it, so I naturally assumed it was a Twilight knockoff for TV. It’s seems be be on alot (made the mistake expecting Michael J Fox more than once) so I assume it’s decent.

I assumed the same thing until I watched it. Its obviously supernatural themed, but is too surreal and self-aware to drift to twilight levels of angst and drama. Id say it shares more in common with Angel, Buffy, or Supernatural.
